T H E B E S T O F F R E N C H Melanie was educated in Poitiers and in Paris. She worked in the fashion industry, numbering the great names of the fashion world amongst her clients. Her plan was to spend time in England to improve her English with a view to going back to work in fashion in Paris. Things change. Melanie realised that the opportunity to bring French goods to the UK market was still a valuable prospect. She created her website, thought carefully about her focus and decided that her approach would be to bring only quality products to her site. |

Because her interests are varied she decided to include any and all of the things that she liked to work with – as long as they were high on quality. Thus on the one hand her interest in her own region’s foodstuffs from the Poitou region of southwest France, on the other her interest in the specialised field of hand bag design. She is also especially interested in helping small makers to display their products to new potential customers. So it is likely that her website will expand as other small makers attract her attention and she shows them off to her UK customers.
